Specifications

The BATCA AXIS Tri Configuration is the largest layout in the AXIS modular series. It connects three main structural stations together in a triangular pattern to accommodate up to six simultaneous users. [1, 2]

Footprint & Dimensions

  • Length: 9'8"
  • Width: 8'7"
  • Height: 7'6" to 7'10" (depending on the specific attachments chosen)
  • Stability: The interlocking triangular base creates a massive, self-supporting structure. Unlike single standalone AXIS towers, a Tri configuration has a wide enough center of gravity that it does not strictly require floor anchoring for general stability.

Station ConfigurationsYou can build a dual-station setup by selecting three primary stations from the main AXIS modular lineup:

  1. Free Trainer (AFT): The core dual adjustable pulley system featuring 710 lbs total weight via dual 200 lb weight stacks.
  2. Smith Trainer (AST): A 402 lb counter-balanced Smith system featuring a 45 lb Olympic bar.
  3. Body Weight Trainer (ABT): A 294 lb frame optimized for suspension training, core work, and resistance bands.
  4. Free Weight Rack (AFR): A 316 lb traditional half-rack setup for free weight barbell exercises.

Mechanical & Material Specifications

  • Frame Tubing: Heavy-duty 2” x 4” and 1.5” x 3” 11-gauge structural steel tube frame with thick 3/8” and 1/4” steel plates.
  • Cables & Pulleys: 2,000 lb. military-spec nylon-coated cables paired with glass-reinforced nylon pulleys operating on precision steel ball bearings.
  • Weight Stacks: Precision machined solid steel plates traveling on chromed guide rods, utilizing heavy rubber suspension bumpers to deaden impact shock.
