Q: Do you sell new or used fitness equipment?
A: BOTH! The majority of items that we sell are brand new. When you visit one of our stores, most of the items you will see on display are new. When you purchase from Fitness Exchange you will be delivered a new in box item unless you purchase a specific item that is marked as a "floor model". Our slection of used fitness equipment is also on display at our stores. To ensure your complete satisfaction, pre-owned equipment is not available for purchase online. Please call or email for details. Also, due to shipping complexity used products are only available for store pickup or local delivery by our team of professionals in the PA, NJ, DE, NY area.
Q: Does your new equipment come with a warranty?
A: Yes! All new equipment comes with a full manufacturer warranty.
Q: Does your used equipment come with any warranty?
A: YES! We offer a LIMITED LOCAL WARRANTY for Certified Pre-owned equipment. Fitness Exchange, Inc. provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser residing within our local service area (defined as 25 miles or less from our locations). Pre-owned Fitness product will be free from mechanical defects in workmanship and materials for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase. CPO warranty covers major mechanical issues and does not include wear items, heart rate, software or program issues that do not affect the mechanical workings of the unit. Q: How can I know what pre-owned items you have for sale?
A: Our selection of used equipment varies by location and changes frequently. We recommend visiting your nearest store to see what’s currently available or view current items here: Pre-owned Products. You can filter by store to see the location of our used items. Q: I am interested in trading in my old fitness equipment for new equipment, what should I do?
A: Fitness Exchange accepts trade-in's! Please complete the trade-in form. Trade-in Form.
Q: Do I have to live in your area to do a trade-in?
A: For trade-in’s to be practical, you need to be within driving distance of up to approximately 60 miles of one of our stores in PA.
Q: I am only interested in selling or giving away my old equipment, what now?
A: Please complete the trade-in form and note that the item is for sale or free in the description box. Trade-in Form
Q: My fitness equipment needs service, can you help me?

Q: Where does your used equipment come from?
A: The vast majority of our used equipment comes from trade-in’s. Some select items come from careful purchasing of pre-owned equipment. We have our technicians go over every used item and inspect it for proper operation before anything is put up for sale.
Q: Do you offer extended warranties?
A: We offer Safeware Protection Plans on most new and certified used fitness equipment for an additional fee.
Q: How can I purchase a Gift Card for your store?
A: Gift Cards are sold online and in store. Gift cards are always mailed free of charge, never have fees, and never expire!
Q: Do you rent or lease equipment?
A: We have rental and leasing plans available. If you are interested in renting please fill out our Rental Form. For lease information, please Contact Us and fill out a Lease Application.
Q: Do you offer financing?
A: Fitness Exchange offers flexible financing for personal use and we have many leasing options for commercial customers.
Q: Can you help plan my commercial fitness center?
A: Fitness Exchange provides free professional advice and consulting on planning, installing, and maintaining commercial fitness centers. We specialize in designing safe, efficient, cost-effective solutions for Corporate Fitness Centers, Apartments, Condominiums, Schools, Hospitals, Country Clubs, Police, Fire, and more. We can work with your space on our CAD system to lay out your room on paper to ensure you will be happy with the outcome before investing. We provide on-site operational and safety training for any installation. You can come to our showroom to see and try our equipment before making your decision. You can also leave confident knowing that we will be there for you after the sale to provide the service necessary to protect your investment. Q: Can you explain your trade-in offer for my used equipment?
A: Trade-ins go through a rigorous inspection and refurbishing process that can be quite costly. Our process includes the cost of disassembly, removal, transport, reassembly and the cost to add a warranty. We perform cleaning, testing, parts, and repairs. We take trade-in's seriously and have a great deal invested in reselling your item.
Q: Do you provide in-home assembly?
A: Our factory-trained service team can provide local in-home assembly of your fitness equipment for an additional fee.
Q: Can you remove my old equipment?

Q: Can you move my fitness equipment?
A: Our factory-trained service team can move your fitness equipment. Please fill out our CONTACT FORM for a quote.
Q: How often should I lube my treadmill?
A: Please consult your owner’s manual or the manufacturer’s website for information on how often and what type of lube to use on your treadmill. If you have lost your manual and cannot find the information on the manufacturer’s website, please Contact Us with your treadmill manufacturer, model and age or call our service department.
