Q: I am interested in trading in my old fitness equipment for new equipment, what should I do?
A: The most efficient and fastest way to get information on whether we are interested in your trade-in is to visit our website and complete our Trade-in Form. We will let you know in most cases within 2 to 3 business days if we are interested in your equipment.

We typically are only interested in higher quality type equipment more typical of what you see for sale on our website. Items that are very old, in poor condition, or in need of major repairs will not be accepted.

You will receive credit to use against another purchase or a Gift Card that can be used at any time in the future for any merchandise. There is no expiration date, time limit, or fees of any kind on our gift cards.

Q: Do I have to live in your area to do a trade-in?
A: For trade-in’s to be practical, you need to be within driving distance of up to approximately 60 miles.

Q: I am only interested in selling or giving away my old equipment, what now?
A: Fitness Exchange only offers trade-in’s and we do not purchase items. The only items that we may at times make exceptions for and offer to purchase are the following: Concept 2 Rowers, Precor EFX, Life Fitness Crosstrainer, and steel weight plates . If you are interested in selling one of these items please call or complete the trade-in form and note that the item is for sale in the description box.

Q: My fitness equipment needs service, can you help me?
A: For fastest service please complete our Service Request form on our website.

Q: How often should I lube my treadmill?
A: Please consult your owner’s manual or the manufacturer’s website for information on how often and what type of lube to use on your treadmill. If you have lost your manual and cannot find the information on the manufacturer’s website, please Contact Us with your treadmill manufacturer, model and age or call our service department.

Q: Where does your pre-owned equipment come from?
A: The vast majority of our used equipment comes from trade-in’s. Some select items come from careful purchasing of pre-owned equipment. We have our technicians go over every used item and inspect it for proper operation before anything is put up for sale.

Q: Does your used equipment come with any warranty?
A: We offer a full 30 day parts warranty on most pre-owned items. Some pre-owned items are available with longer warranties. *Some exclusions apply.

Q: Does Fitness Exchange price match?
A: Fitness Exchange offers a comprehensive Price Match Guarantee. Details of the policy can be found by clicking on our Price Policy.

Q: How can I purchase a Gift Card for your store?
A: Gift Cards are sold online and in store. Gift cards are always mailed free of charge, never have fees, and never expire!

Q: What kind of payment plans does Fitness Exchange offer?
A: Fitness Exchange offers financing for personal use and we have many leasing options for commercial customers. Please call or email us for more information.

Q: Do you rent or lease equipment?

A: Fitness Exchange offers flexible financing for personal use and we have many leasing options for commercial customers.

Q: Can you help plan my commercial fitness center?
A: Fitness Exchange provides free professional advice and consulting on planning, installing, and maintaining commercial fitness centers. We specialize in designing safe, efficient, cost-effective solutions for Corporate Fitness Centers, Apartments, Condominiums, Schools, Hospitals, Country Clubs, Police, Fire, and more. We can work with your space on our CAD system to lay out your room on paper to ensure you will be happy with the outcome before investing. We provide on-site operational and safety training for any installation. You can come to our showroom to see and try our equipment before making your decision. You can also leave confident knowing that we will be there for you after the sale to provide the service necessary to protect your investment.

Q: What is your Pre-owned Equipment Warranty?
LIMITED WARRANTY (PERTAINS TO PRE-OWNED EQUIPMENT ONLY)
Fitness Exchange, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that this pre-owned Fitness Product will be free from mechanical defects in workmanship and materials for a period of thirty (30) days from date of purchase. During the warranty period, Fitness Exchange, Inc. will either repair or replace, at its option, defective part(s) at no charge or offer a refund. Wear items, such as running belt and running deck, drive belts and upholstery are excluded.
Fitness Exchange, Inc. does not warranty the heart rate system performance on its products, as the heart rate system performance varies, based on a user's physiology, fitness level, age, method of use and other factors. Wear items are defined as and are not limited to treadmill deck, running belt, motor brushes, drive belts, seats, pedal covers and hand grips.
Running belt tracking and tension adjustments and other preventive maintenance procedures are the purchaser's responsibility and are not covered by this warranty. Pre-owned equipment is sold as is and this warranty applies to mechanical failures only and does not apply to appearance items of the product, noises, the exterior of which has been damaged or defaced, any item which has been subject to abuse, misuse, accident, negligence, lack of normal maintenance, abnormal service or handling as specified for this model, improper installation, or which has been altered or modified in design or construction. Fitness Exchange, Inc. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind resulting from defect(s) in the product.
The limited warranty described above is in addition to whatever implied warranties may be granted purchaser by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR USE ARE LIMITED TO A PERIOD OF THIRTY DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts. No one is authorized to change, modify or extend the terms of this warranty on behalf of Fitness Exchange, Inc.
The warranties described above shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the purchaser. Correction of defects, in the manner and for the period of time described above, shall constitute complete fulfillment of all liabilities and responsibilities of Fitness Exchange, Inc. to the purchaser with respect to the product, and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, and strict liability or otherwise. In no event shall Fitness Exchange, Inc. be liable or in any other way responsible for damages or defects in the product which were caused by repairs or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than a Fitness Exchange, Inc. Technical Representative or Authorized Service Contractor. Nor shall Fitness Exchange, Inc. be liable or in any way responsible for any incidental or consequential economic or property damage. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damage, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
